Q How does the system handle juvenile offenders differently from adults? Do you agree or disagree with this system especially in the more egregious cases?
Juvenile punishment is often focused on rehabilitation and psychotherapy. They are also usually sent back home with their parents, depending on the offense. Most of the time, everything is handled in family court although sometimes juveniles are treated as an adult for certain crimes. I mainly agree with focusing on a juveniles mental health and helping point them on the straight path. Most of the time, I feel like adults should acquire the same care when it comes to mental health,
